The school districts and county offices of education would be required, at a regularly scheduled, open, public hearing, to take testimony from the public, discuss, and approve or disapprove the proposed use of funding, and to report to the State Department of Education, in the existing annual Standardized Accounting System reporting process, the purposes for which the funds were used and the amounts used for each of those purposes.
